We had a fun filled Spring Break-my parents were in town for the impending arrival of a grandchild who didn't want to come join the fun. We did everything in our power to get that kid to come but he was staying put. Here are a few highlights and pictures.
- Houston Rodeo-the boys love the rodeo and Owen and Noah got to go Mutton Bustin' (ride a mutton for as long as you last which in their case was about 3 seconds.
- Visit to the Natural Science Museum with grandpa, grandma, and Lauren
- Fishing at our favorite spot
- Dinner with family
- Watching Ramona and Beezus which has been a huge hit
- Going to the beach
- Celebrating Eli's much anticipated arrival
- Dad's 33rd birthday.

| Noah ate more bait than the fish-don't worry we were using velveeta. |
| Owen has a small tolerance for fishing. |
| We had fun fishing but got skunked. The boys love to fish with Grandpa |
| Lovin' the ocean no matter the weather. |
| Diggin' in the sand-his nick-name should be pig-pen |
| Waiting for baby Shepherd-and hopefully enjoying the ocean breeze. |
| Wanting to get in the water but getting cold so playing in the sand. |
He loved the beach so much he'd lay on his stomach and wiggle. He was trying to eat and put his face
in the sand in this picture. |
| Can you get a sense of his glee? |
| 10 days overdue-one patient mom to be. |
| Eli Jonathon needed to be coaxed out-they boys love him already. |
| Enjoying a family walk at East End Park for Dad's 33rd birthday. |
Tell Lauren I am super impressed with her patience--I don't know if I could go more than a week over before I told them to induce me. Someday we will make it down there to play in the ocean with y'all!
