One of my favorite movies comes to the rescue. (Casablanca)  Noah got braces on Thursday, and yes this is the beginning of a beautiful and expensive friendship with Dr. Woehst.  We will be contributing handsomely to his retirement fund.  Noah had to get all four canines pulled about a month ago because his permanent teeth don't have room to come in despite the fact he lost the baby teeth 9 months ago.  So baby teeth were pulled and braces put on his two front teeth to pull them together in the hopes that the permanent teeth will descend and not cause major drama in this mouth.  He was quite excited and his teacher let him make an announcement the morning he got them on.  He has been showing everyone and has great plans for changing the color of the elastic to match the coming holidays.  He'll only have to have them on for about 3 months.  But given the size of his mouth, or lack thereof, and the size of his permanent teeth, this IS the beginning of a beautiful friendship with Dr. Woehst and his office.
