Winston

Today I was playing with Owen and Winston...they wanted to play church. Owen made a podium and got up and told two nice stories about Jesus-His baptism complete with 'and the Holy Ghost descended on Him.' Then he told of Jesus walking on the water and calming the storm. I was impressed and a little relieved to know things are actually sinking into his head.

Then it was Winston's turn. He got up to the podium, pretended to hold a microphone and said, "today we going to talk about donuts." Hmmmm....we've still got a lot of work to do.

A few minutes earlier while reading books.
Winston (seeing a picture of a kitten): Sweet kitten, yum yum!
Me: did you just say yum yum?!?!
Wintson: yes, yum yum kitten, he taste good!
