Labor Day Weekend aka Uncle Aaron's wedding

Ben's brother decided to have a shotgun wedding-ok not exactly but he had a 7 week engagement so it felt kind of like a shot gun wedding-minus the sin.  We got to go to SLC for Labor Day and spent a great 4 days with Ben's family.  The wedding was really well done, classy and very nice.  The big event was on Friday afternoon so family pictures and a wedding dinner followed.  We were back to the rental house by 8 pm and the kids were in bed at decent times.  The rest of the weekend we played with Grandparents, cousins, and enjoyed Utah's fall weather.  Noah, Ben and Aunt Becky, Uncle Mike and Aunt Ashley even got to go see Music and the Spoken Word Sunday morning while the rest of us watched in the cry room.
I think they were most excited about touching the doors of the Temple.  They were peeved that they couldn't go into watch the sealing.

Aaron and Jessica

Smith family-current until November when we add our baby girl.  She'll be the second girl out of 10 total.

Throwing rocks during our early moring Millcreek Canyon hike

What happens when you whine about hiking-this was on the way down and we had been hiking for about 2 miles.

Showing their 'school spirit' as Noah put it for the BYU game later that day.

Swimming at Murray City pool with the cousins

Bowling at the Wilkinson Center-they were thrilled!

Our Sunday walk around Silver Lake, Big Cottonwood Canyon.

  1. The picture of the 4 boys in front of the temple doors is priceless! Love the matching outfits.
